Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located for travelers needing a quick stop, right off the A1. The rooms, while in need of modernization, were clean with a shower. However, they were slightly smaller and the beds not as comfortable as expected.
My stay at the hotel was like escaping into a mini holiday thanks to the warm welcome and helpful advice from the receptionist James and the attentive room cleaner Sharon. The rooms, although on the older design side with gold and purple curtains, were cozy but small and lacked air conditioning. Some more soundproofing would have been beneficial, but overall a pleasant experience.
The inn is nestled in a quiet residential area, not too far from the motorway, offering plenty of parking. It's a great stopover location for longer journeys south, near a sports bar for entertainment; however, it can get very busy.
The hotel had very comfortable and clean rooms, one of the best accessible rooms I've used with a well-equipped wet room providing stability. The location was convenient for visiting Beamish and easy to access, perfect for touring the area. The dining experience was superb with a wide selection of delicious food available.
The hotel's location was excellent, surrounded by convenient eateries and easy to reach via various transportation options. The rooms, albeit a bit smaller compared to newer hotels, were pleasantly set up in the quiet area and adequately met our needs. The dining experience was a highlight with freshly cooked-to-order meals and a wide selection available.
The Premier Inn was just what we needed - clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff in a convenient location. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but the hotel was a great stop between our travels.
I stayed at this Premier Inn for a couple of nights while on business in the area. The rooms were fine, a good size, with good bathroom facilities and a decent bed, although a bit smaller than newer hotels. The shower setup made it a little claustrophobic, but overall comfortable for the stay. The location was great for traveling around the area, easy to access via taxi and local bus services. The dining experience was excellent, with cooked-to-order meals that were a refreshing change. The lack of self-service was a downside for some, but the quality made up for it.
The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms, though some fittings show signs of age. The wet room provides good stability for those needing extra support. The location is convenient for visiting local attractions, with friendly staff to assist. The dining experience is delightful, especially the freshly made dishes. Overall, a good value for the money.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was very comfortable, clean, and one of the best accessible rooms I've used. The wet room was well equipped, providing a lot of stability that gave me confidence. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. However, the dining experience could have had more options. Overall, great value for the money.
This Premier Inn truly exceeded my expectations! The rooms were standard Premier Inn rooms but so clean and comfy, with fresh sheets and towels in the spotless bathroom. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the room had plenty of hanging hooks for coats and dressing gowns, unlike other Premier Inns I've stayed in before. Definitely a good find for a relaxing stay.
